Watched it on a plane; I only had Bluetooth headphones though, so I had to watch the first 20min without sound till a stewardess handed them out. Solid fun flick that captures the thrill of climbing, but in an urban scenario. Got some solid laughs out of me too.

Arguably the best zombie flick ever put to film. Emotionally powerful, immensely exciting, and full of British charm. Plus, "In the House, In a Heartbeat" is one of the best film scores out there. IMO though the originally intended ending is essential. It was cut for being too depressing but it fits it perfectly.

I had to sit on this on for a bit to coalesce my feelings on it. It's a slower paced, character propelled zombie flick in the vein of 28 Days Later, though that comparison doesn't do it any favours as it falls well short in overall story telling quality. The relationship between Sgt. Parks and Melanie I found captivating, but the emotional impact never seemed to land. I wanted to feel more than I did. The ending I understand but didn't like as I feel the tone severely mismatched the reality.
