Twin boy mom who is finally getting back into reading!

A good book, different than her historical fictions. It was quick and easy to read. Not the best, but it wasn’t my comfort zone reads.

A good, spooky book. The ending… wow! Definitely didn’t see it coming.

It was a sweet book. It was not hard to fall in love with the characters, but was hard to pick which kid was your favorite. Can see how it tied into American history. Out of my normal reading comfort zone (fantasy/magical)

It was okay, didn’t really get into it until the last 100 pages. Then I felt it ended too soon!

This was my first historical fiction and I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it or not. It’s worth the hype. It was beautifully written and I didn’t want it to end. Heartbreaking, slow, beautiful. I am looking forward to reading more by her.

Really enjoyed this book. Nice break from the mystery and romance I usually read. I wish I didn’t watch the movies so it would be more of a surprise but it was still a good, easy read.

This book toyed with my emotions. While I couldn’t personally connect with what Lily was going through, I hurt for her at her lows and smiled when she was at her highs. Such a good book!

It was a great book, I never guessed what was going to happen. If I thought I knew, I was probably wrong. Hard to decide if I loved or hated characters, I feel like we learned so much about them but never enough. Some of wording and science/magic of it went over my head. Had to reread and look up a lot of definitions 🤪 Still an AMAZING book and I can’t wait for the next one!
