It's a perfect middle-grade book for those interested in fantasys. I suggest this for those who like Harry Potter and if they enjoyed fairy tails as a child. I recommend this book for kids 10-12, but it is great for everyone!

The Mortal Instruments is a really enjoyable fantasy/mystery series for teens. It is apart of the Shadowhunters collection. I've only read the first book, however I thought it was really great (though I lost the book when I moved unfortunately, and I never found it.) The 400 pages that I got to read were actually very enjoyable!
