An absolute classic. If you're new to anime, or want to get more involved in the community, watch this. You'll see the influence of this anime riddled throughout pop-culture. Also, the soundtrack is just a masterpiece.

Easily in my top 3 favorite anime. The animation is so good, the characters are all interesting and surprise you with their growth. The soundtrack is excellent, as well. Each episode is a self contained story, but you still get little tidbits on their search for the Samurai who smells of Sunflowers along the way.
