"The kind of vampires that are actually pretty scary. Made for television in the 70s, I’m amazed how well its held up, with its budget and breadth, acting and most of the special effects. Watching this made me realize how much Tobe Hooper must have loved the texture of rot and decay, fraying blankets, and the contrast of the ornate and gaudy antiques."
