"Season 1: ⭐⭐⭐/5 (I liked it) I originally started watching this show because I remember watching it as a young teen & really loving it. Looking back on it now though, BOY DOES THE FIRST SEASON LEAVE A LIT TO BE DESIRED! 😂😆😂 Wow, the first season (dubbed or not) is janky as hell. From the re-use of animation stills, awkward voice acting as well as the English dub team being comprised of 7 voice actors (at best) who are reused for so many background characters it feels off, and lastly so many plot points that either don't have sound resolutions or are never addressed at how they fix things. Now this isn't to say everything was bad. There is a lot of good here. If anything I really do recommend getting through Season 1 just to get to Season 2 which you could tell has a better budget as well as better writing & voice acting all around. At least, we'll see how well my statements hold up as I give Season 2 a watch. For now if you remember this show, or are discovering it for the first time, give it a shot. You can't really go wrong with a show about a group of teens trying to stop a super computer from destroying humanity. 😉"

"Let me tell you all a story. I watched this show when I was a kid, but as all kids do, I forgot about it. Towers, X.A.N.A., Lyoko, I forgot it all. One day, I heard a song play in the back of my mind. I chased the memory, but found nothing but fog. This repeated for years until one day when I was sitting in front of my PC. I heared the song again, but instead of chasing it, I sang along with it: "Here we are... to save all that we love...we will make it through... Make evil go away...CODE LYOKO!"
