"i watched this when i was first getting into anime. i definitely liked it in the beginning but was quick to realize how bad it was. not only were the characters bland but the storyline was too. i don’t remember anything from the show accept a girl being sent to live with a bunch of teenage vampires. i would pay anyone not to watch this series. and dw, the second season is just as bad as the first. spoilers i mainly hated how they treated the mc. i also hated how they dumbed down her character. it was like she was just put in the show for them to feed off of and toss around. it was disgusting. i did enjoy it in the moment of watching but i think any young 13-14 year old would enjoy watching something stupid like that. i can’t think of anyone else who could put up with the terrible storyline."

"this sucks. i rarely make reviews but this anime deserved it. basically an annoying oh so “innocent” girl is brought to a mansion home to a bunch of disturbing bloodthirsty vampires. the vampires looked hot but lacked character. they were abusive and there was nothing romantic about it. for the first 10 episodes all they do is torture her. they bite her and when they suck on the blood, the sound effects make me cringe. then, don’t get me started on the constant whimpering. oh and to top it all off the main character made me so mad. “oh i’m just so fragile and stupid”. THEN, WHEN SHE HAD THE CHANCE TO RUN, SHE ALWAYS TRIPPED. okay listen, i get it your scared but you can atleast try and stand up for yourself. then her little idiot self had the chance to leave but no, she was just so curious about why she was there . she lacked personality and was SO BORING. AND, the only thing she would do is constantly moan “stop please, don’t do this”. come on now, you can do better then that. there was a plot twist but it was nothing special, i made it to episode 11/13 and i just grew tired of it. if you want free whimper audios, here you go. you get a whole 3 hours of it. overall, this anime lacked plot, super boring, and will constantly make you want to jump off the face of the earth. it’s a really disturbing, uncomfortable, disgusting and weird anime. "

"It's definitely a type of anime you have to give a chance and only a selec few will like but it involves some of my favorite things anime, vampire, supernatural things, harem, or reverse harem. It's actually pretty interesting in love the plot line it's so well done and they have a second season technically called Diabolik Lovers More Blood."
