In this exhilarating novel by the best-selling author of The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry two friends--often in love, but never lovers--come together as creative partners in the world of video game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality. Utterly brilliant. In this sweeping, gorgeously written novel, Gabrielle Zevin charts the beauty, tenacity, and fragility of human love and creativity. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is one of the best books I've ever read. --John Green On a bitter-cold day, in the December of his junior year at Harvard, Sam Masur exits a subway car and sees, amid the hordes of people waiting on the platform, Sadie Green. He calls her name. For a moment, she pretends she hasn't heard him, but then, she turns, and a game begins: a legendary collaboration that will launch them to stardom. These friends, intimates since childhood, borrow money, beg favors, and, before even graduating college, they have created their first blockbuster, Ichigo. Overnight, the world is theirs. Not even twenty-five years old, Sam and Sadie are brilliant, successful, and rich, but these qualities won't protect them from their own creative ambitions or the betrayals of their hearts. Spanning thirty years, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Venice Beach, California, and lands in between and far beyond, Gabrielle Zevin's Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is a dazzling and intricately imagined novel that examines the multifarious nature of identity, disability, failure, the redemptive possibilities in play, and above all, our need to connect: to be loved and to love. Yes, it is a love story, but it is not one you have read before.

"This is why you read books that don't seem your type but has some elements that pique your curiosity. I don't really play video games, I don't usually like romance subplots but this book is so brilliant. I even cried from a passage that was so beautifully written it reminded me of a loving relationship I have with someone. If any parts of this book seem interesting to you, read it. "

"I’m new to realistic fiction, but really enjoyed the narration and pace of this book. Sam and Sadie immediately draw you in, just like they seem to draw others into their lives in their own world. Their relationship was the absolute soul of this story, and was painfully accurate to the real challenges of maintaining relationships throughout life. I absolutely loved the representation of platonic soulmates and the exploration of immortality in relation to video games, but in such a way that it was about way more than video games. Fantastic writing, would absolutely read more works from Zevin. "
"… I have so many thoughts. Did I think this was a great book? Yes, undeniably. Did I enjoy the act of reading it? Undecided. It stressed me out at most turns, and I found the female protagonist AGGRESSIVELY unwilling to take accountability for hurting her supposed best friend. Over. And over again. I doubt I’ll ever read it again. Did I like this book? No. "
"I liked most of this book but not all so unfortunately only 4 stars from me. I was sucked into the book right away and was an immediate page turner but somewhere in the middle I got a little bored and was not a fan of the really love lists that kept popping up. I really enjoyed the game development aspect of this book since I love playing games and haven’t read any books that even mention game play so this was a fun and new thing for me to read. 4/5 "
"Such an incredible book ! I'm not particularly interested in video games but I did understood what was interesting in it thanks to this book. The characters are incredible. I was deeply touched and hooked and didn't want to finish. Hope her other book are that good or it's going to be hard ! "
