"This was fine, but not great. I love Amy Poehler and initially became a fan when Upright Citizens Brigade had their show on Comedy Central, but this book felt very specific to a season in her life (post divorce, single momming small children) and not quite as reflective or funny as I would have hoped. Don’t get me wrong, this was both reflective and funny in parts, but it fell a bit flat and felt like she was grasping for content. The last couple chapters were great, the deep dive with parks and rec creator was interesting, and I loved the bits she shared about UCB (really hoped for more there). I guess at the end of the day, she gave what she could give and it was somewhat entertaining and I still love her, but if I had less opportunity to read I might have been disappointed."
