"3.5 - Such a great diverse book.

I thought the characters were okay, just not fleshed out enough. The main character, Jasmine, was great, and I was really happy with how confident she was unabashedly. The male lead Ashton was a little immature and some of his fears were realistic. I'm glad that it showed him as insecure, since we don't get that a lot in fiction, but I didn't enjoy reading his perspective all that much since he was whiny often.

The story was decent, just not paced well. I felt like the climax and resolution was too short. The climax wasn't thrilling or scary enough since it couldn't be fleshed out. The resolution was just a few pages and didn't feel fulfilling enough."
"I really really enjoyed this one. I felt like we almost get two love stories wrapped into one because we also get to see what they film! this was a “couldn’t put it down” kinda book for me for all the right reasons. it was sweet, spicy with some good old hollywood drama. all in all, it’s been one of my favourite reads this month."
"I thought this was a really good, well-rounded romance read. It had its spicy moments but really took time to build the essence of each character. I loved the slow burn and the will-they-won’t-they moments along with the forbidden romance troupe that both characters enact themselves. This is such a better version of Jane the Virgin and I’m excited to read the next book!"
