"I just finished this book, and WOW. What an amazingly realistic story. It goes to show the corruption in our Justice system and and pop-star world. The scandals, the lies, the abuse. Sometimes, fame comes with a cost. Not all celebrities are to be trusted. On the outside, people may seem so lovely and innocent, but you never truly know someone until it’s too late. This is what this book shows us. Not only that, but the racism and doubts that African Americans are subjected to each day."
"Tiffany D. Jackson does it again. Enchanted’s heartbreaking story of being groomed, sexually assaulted, abused, and manipulated then not believed was just so realistic. The snippets of comments from social media or group chats could have been taken directly from real conversations. While this may seem like a story about R. Kelly, it’s so much more. It’s the story of many Black girls whose voices were silenced and stories never believed.
In true Tiffany D. Jackson form, the story goes back and forth from right after a murder to the details that lead up to how Enchanted got to that place. There’s a few twists and some parts had me STRESSED. Overall, it was a good read. 4⭐️’s. "
"THERE ARE TRIGGER WARNINGS!! this story is about girl who falls victim to a celebrity. she goes through abuse (physically, emotionally, and mentally) and no one believes her when she finally shares her story. it has such a deep meaning i think everyone should eventually read this book if you’re able to. "

"This was an incredibly difficult book to read, not because of Jackson’s writing, which was excellent, but because of the subject matter. Korey’s treatment of Enchanted frequently made me feel sick to my stomach, and I felt so bad for her, for her family, for Amber and all the other girls Korey manipulated and abused. However, I did like it, and definitely want to read more from Jackson in the future. (Make sure to check CWs before reading!!!)"
