"⭐️⭐️ This book is definitely written simply as it’s told from the perspective of a 6th grader. Quick and easy read, finished it in a morning. I felt like there was a lot of potential here but I didn’t really care for this book. I needed more of the relationship between Joseph and Maddie, maybe some of her pregnancy and her family, I needed less cows (😂) and more Jupiter. I think I might have enjoyed this more told from the perspective of Joseph as opposed to Jack. The ending was heartbreaking and unfair. "
"3.5 stars. The book was good, but as another reviewer pointed out, Jack felt like the wrong narrator for this story. Too many things had to be told explicitly when it would've been better to show them in real time. Still looking forward to reading the next book though!"
