"⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 nostalgic stars. If you grew up with Eddie Murphy, liked the original films and don’t expect too much from this reboot sequel you might enjoy it. It evokes the spirit of the first film just not a ton of the magic. Bringing back the original players was the best, especially Judge Reinhold (whom I miss a lot!) and Bronson Pinchot (still funny!) .. they just weren’t in it enough! It doesn’t seem like Eddie Murphy ever changes except I did miss his signature Foley laugh! Otherwise this movie is pretty much what you’d expect. Lots of Foley going rogue through the streets of Beverly Hills destroying everything in his path, talking, shooting and crashing his way out of trouble and generally bringing us along for the good time. I was okay with it. There are way WAY worse reboots out there. "

"I really enjoyed this re-boot! They stayed very close to the original formula and the action scenes were on par! Eddie Murphy looks great and it was good to see some of the old cast members back together again. The daughter was a bit of a drag and played her role super dry. Joseph Gordon Leavitt and Kevin Bacon fit perfectly! My nostalgia and love for the original films were satisfied and satiated with this new flick. It's so funny that axel used to get away with so much with his slick talk and it was a stark reality to todays version where literally his stories worked on no one. Everyone was so distrustful! But it's like that in real life now so...great pic all around and very well done."
"Nostalgia from the start. Fun from the start too. Better than part 3 with Foley taking on villains….at a theme park.
That’s why Joesph Gordon Levitt says to Foley “1994 is not your finest hour” 😂. Though the daughter not taking the last name Foley. Is a bit familiar. Like John MCClaine’s kids. Murphy’s surprisingly great chemistry with Joseph Gordon Levitt is a plus as well.
This should have went in theaters since it’s better than some of the summer movie releases."
