"This is the most depressing movie I have and ever will watch. No matter what we do, every action, every decision, every single thing we do is nothing but pushing a tiny grain of sand in the Sand Timer that we call life. No matter what you do, after you die, the rest of the world will keep on going without you and your memory, whether your memory lasts 10 years, or 1 week, no matter what, we will forget you. It's scary to think about, but we all have to face it one day. There's one scene in this movie where happy music starts playing in the background, Mr. Watanabe and Toyo are having fun in the shopping district, but the only thing I felt was despair. The more fun you have in your final moments, the more you'll miss your loved ones, your past, the fun you had, and the more they'll miss you back. You'll feel pain. You'll have to endure it. But that's okay, because if you enjoy your life, if you, personally, enjoy what you've done, then you've done a good job. If you feel you have paved a path to where your memory is remembered fondly, for the time it lasts, then it's okay. Everyone will die, but it's what happened during your life that matters. Making amends with the things you've done and the things you haven't done. Being happy with yourself. That's all that's important. This movie captures that almost perfectly, and it scares me too much. "
