" Wow did not expect to be misdirected like that. I thought I was going to dislike this film because it was going to be the “save the princess” formula typical of OP. Then out of nowhere comes Jim Jones, Jonestown, and the Kool Aid 😂. If you too young to know those references then know this movie gets dark and edgy. Probably one of the best OP movies due to this subversion. Now you might be turned off by the CGI dances (I was), the songs sung by Abo, or certain plot contrivances but this was an enjoyable film overall. If you’re a OP or anime fan you can’t go wrong by seeing this movie."

"10/10 got to see this movie at a early showing last night, and this might be my new favorite One Piece Film!!! It's like they merged my two favorite OP films together and I love it! Now I just have to wait for it to come to streaming platforms so I can watch it 10 more times... It as a really great story, music, action, animation and fan service (the kind that has a lot of fan favorite characters, not the other kind, though they did have a bit of that, too.
