"Bradley Cooper does such an amazing job as Chris in this movie! it tugs at heartstrings and also shows how active duty messes with soldiers' heads in a more realistic way than some other military movies, imo. it's based off a true story, which makes it even more dramatic. only criticism is that I didn't find it super gripping about halfway through, and it took me a moment to understand time (flashbacks and skips to the future are not made explicit to the audience.)"
