"A great paranormal classic, about a couple who die and find themselves haunting their home after a tragic accident driving to the store. Worth watching as a new family moves in to the couples house, while the couple begins to understand their unloving conditions; as well as those who would seek to bring a scare to those who live where they shouldn’t!!"
"I think this might be one of Tim Burtons best “Tim Burton” movies. It is so striking in a fun cool and fresh way that you feel like you’ve always wanted to see but couldn’t Describe. The cast is perfect and everyone feels just right for the most part and you can tell there so much more to the story that there isn’t enough time for. Just a vibe. "

"Campy funny entertaining. Particularly love the “Dayo” song around the dining table. Michael Keaton is a standout as beetle juice."

"It’s a little flawed with plot holes if you think about it. The case worker of the dead couple is well played by the actress.
It just doesn’t make sense that she tells them to stop cheap tricks since no one can see them.
Then she approves when they stretch out their faces to scare the new home owners. When no can see them.
The movie is so much fun that it took 30 years for me to think about the flaws."
"This is such a classic I can barely even speak on it. I love it to a sickening degree. My doormat out front is Beetlejuice, my wallet is the Handbook for the Recently Deceased, my makeup bag is the black and white striped suit, andy gift to my father for Christmas this year is a mug that says "Here Lies Beetlejuice." I saw this movie *at school * when I was 7. It changed my life for the better. Absolutely in my top 10 of all time. "
"4.5/5⭐️Day 31 I Finished #Spooktober off with Beetlejuice which was a perfect Halloween film that hit all of my childhood nostalgia. I still can’t believe this came out in 1988. It’s crazy how much this still holds up today. I use to watch this on HBO all the time growing up. I’m like 98% sure we even had it on VHS. Since this is actually my first watch as a grown adult I still found new things and pieces to the plot that make even more sense. I never even knew that was Alec Baldwin all this time. He looks so young but also a little different. I just realized a couple years ago that this was Winona Ryder playing Lydia at a very young age. I thought I just fell in love with Winona as an actor in Stranger Things. But this actually happened 25+ years ago. So even though I haven’t seen this film in like 2 decades it’s still just as good as I remember. Micheal Keaton kills the role as Beetlejuice I don’t think anybody could have done a better job. Between Keaton Winona and Jenna Ortega there are the only reason I will even entertain watching the sequel. Although I will go into that with tempered expectations because this is a classic which probably should have never been touched again. I’ll definitely never go that long again without revisting."
