In Mary's world there are simple truths. The Sisterhood always knows best. The Guardians will protect and serve. The Unconsecrated will never relent. And you must always mind the fence that surrounds the village; the fence that protects the village from the Forest of Hands and Teeth. But, slowly, Mary’s truths are failing her. She’s learning things she never wanted to know about the Sisterhood and its secrets, and the Guardians and their power. And, when the fence is breached and her world is thrown into chaos, about the Unconsecrated and their relentlessness. Now, she must choose between her village and her future, between the one she loves and the one who loves her. And she must face the truth about the Forest of Hands and Teeth. "A bit of a slow start, but it was soo good! Found out there are two more after this and immediately ordered them! The author made you feel connected to the characters and you could really see the world that was created around you! "

"I loved the concept but the execution was just not the best, I got through 50 pages and decided to read something I enjoyed more... Though I think it is only fair to mention I don’t like a romance that overpowers the main story I was more read to sign on for a post apocalyptic story than a romance."
"I NEVER thought that I would like a book like this. I really have no interest at all in anything "zombie" related. I will say that as long as they aren't called zombies I can handle it a bit. This book is so good! You know that these people are dealing with "zombies" but it doesn't seem that way. It's not at all corny or cheesy. The story draws you in and keeps you there waiting to see what happens with these characters. I was never disappointed with this book!"
"Well written if you enjoy a bleeding hearts romance horror <3 well written, fantastic descriptions that make your hair stand on end!
My only very small nitpick is the author uses the word "shudder" frequently enough to take me out of the immersion. Other than that, top notch reading. "
