"I mean, the title really says it all as far as what this book is about. The story of WeWork and its founder is just shocking. The book itself is not as well written or researched as “Bad Blood” but the story is even more preposterous. WeWork was never more than a landlord but for a decade it’s founder was given billions of dollars to pretend it was a technology company. Much like the dot com bubble, the 2010’s will be known for VC backed “unicorns” flaming out. "
"I found this in my local bookstore, with the company I work for leasing all our office space from WeWork, I was intrigued to see how the meteoric rise of WeWork was credited towards Adam, versus investor dollars and the rest of the WeWork company.

This was one of the most Face-paced biographies I've ever read, putting you right in the trenches of the people who were swindled by Adam. It did show that Charisma can only get you so far, and replacing team members with sycophants, including investors who don't know what you are doing but like what you are saying, can ultimately drive a business into the ground.

I really do hope his Billion dollar parachute doesn't go through though."
