It's no secret that I love life. And Dr Pepper. But also, I love a challenge. . .So when the coach of the Chicago Comets gives me the opportunity to help their star player, newly traded to their team, acclimate to life in Chicago, I'm all in. It turns out that the player, Grayson Hawke, is the rudest, most off-putting, reclusive guy I've ever met. It also turns out that he is the beautiful stranger I kissed on New Year's Eve.

"Book Two Holiday with Hearts- Eloise wears her heart on her sleeve and Gray hides his away. This is sunshine assistant and grumpy boss sweet romance. They both have a lot to learn about themselves and each other before they can be together. Not a strong St. Patrick’s theme if you were looking g for that but still a great book! "

"Great feel good romance, super sweet and while it’s a strong contrast grumpy x sunshine, both characters are likeable and you’ll find yourself rooting for them in the end. This book also dives into the pressures of overbearing parents/unrealistic expectations, and highlights the deaf community and ASL through interactions with the parent of the heroine. Highly recommend this read, super cute :)"

"<br/>“I always do this. Always. I want to be liked. And the less a person seems to like me, the more I want to prove to them that I’m worth liking.”<br/><br/>Absolutely adorable. This book had a smile on my face 95% of the time; it was the perfect little holiday romcom for St. Patrick’s Day. <br/><br/>Eloise is the definition of sunshine. Her anxious ramblings and desire to see the best in everyone are definitely qualities I could relate to. Gray wasn’t entirely special to me, but he fit the role of the grumpy hockey boy nicely. <br/><br/>The side characters and the found family vibes left me wanting more. I’ll definitely be going back and reading My Phony Valentine next year for Valentine’s Day. I could read it now, but fingers crossed by next year I’ve forgotten most of the parts of Dallas and Poppy’s relationship that I’ve spoiled for myself by reading the series out of order. <br/><br/>I am assuming there will be a third book to the series about Raya and Finn. I can’t wait to see what holiday is picked for them and their budding flirtation.<br/><br/>Recommend for anyone looking for:<br/>"
