"Finally, this is the last book of the Grishaverse book series (I am happy and sad about it). And it was so damn good! To be honest I think I enjoyed this duology (“King of Scars”) even more than the “Six of Crows” duology. There was so much to the plot, all the twists, and omggg the character development! In other words this is a must read series "
"There was so much action packed into this book which made for an exciting plot. I was invested from beginning to end and had a hard time putting the book down to go to bed! I loved watching Zoya acknowledge her grief and begin to cope with it in a way that shows she is growing as a character and will do a fantastic job fulfilling her new role she gains at the end of the story. It seems like Nikolai also learned a lot about himself in this book and was willing to put the needs of Ravka about his own. Leigh Bardugo did a phenomenal job keeping a book about war interesting and fast paced (sometimes these types of stories can get bogged down).

The only (very teeny-tiny) gripe I have with the ending was the predicament Nina and Hanne ended up in. They both seem happy but are still living their lives as other people which seems kind of sad. I wish they had been able to live as their true selves!"

"This was an epic ending to an epic series. I've been trying to convince myself that the ending leaves a slight opening for Leigh Bardugo to extend the series should she wish to do so in the future, but she's said she isn't planning any future books and is working on the Alex Stern books right now, so I won't get my hopes up too high. I LOVE THAT ZOYA WAS MADE QUEEN. Also excuse me, but DAVID? Anyway, still can't wrap my brain around the fact that this entire world has come to an end."
"I somehow managed to get an ebook copy of this book from the library. I read it in a little more than 24 hours. I could not put it down for anything! It was that addicting. The first book in this series left me bored during most of the Zoya and Nikolai chapters, but this book had me hooked the entire time. I absolutely sobbed reading this book and would recommend tissues. There were many plot twists and unforseen events. This book was so good. Hopefully the little cliffhanger at the end will be resolved eventually...."
