"I liked the concept about being a timeborne and the details about the dagger were really interesting but I do feel that it was a bit prediticable and at times Roman and Olivia's issues could have been solved so easily. Overall it's not a bad book, it's use of time travel is really cool, would reccomend if you like a time travel, romance, and sort of set in Rome, then i would suggest it but for a trigger warning there are mentions of SA. "This was such a good experience. If Outlander had a Roman baby with Native American lore. Ok that sounds weird but I loved this book! The emotional struggles of being thrust into a new time felt like what I definitely would have gone through. I loved seeing the balance between her keeping strong versus struggling with the innate violence of the era. The spicy scenes were so deeply emotional. It does end on a cliffhanger so get ready to grab book 2. I received an ARC review copy in exchange for an honest review. "
