"Cassie and Luke have an untraditional “love story.” They come together when they both clearly can only think of themselves. Blindsided by their own selfish desires, they don’t really think through the consequences of their actions. However, when tragedy strikes, it potentially is the best thing that could have happened to their “love story.” Will they be able to get their stories straight before it’s too late? Or will they be exposed for some of the tricks they had up their sleeves?
The first half of this book, since I already saw the film on Netflix, was pretty slow. I wanted to wait it out, because I enjoyed the film so much, I was convinced it would get better…and I was correct. Once things started to get heated, it got very interesting and pulled at my heartstrings!"
"For the first part of this book, I thought that the movie was better, which is something I don’t say lightly. Some parts of the movie just made more sense than the book. I absolutely hated that she was cheating on him for the majority of their relationship, especially since he was such a sweetheart. The ending was really the only thing that saved this book for me."
"Love the movie so I had to get the book, there are things that are very similar but somethings change a lot. I like that you know how the characters feel and what they’re thinking. The end felt a little rushed but I still enjoyed it. Would recommend but keep in mind the story is not the same as in the movie "
