Alice in Borderland, Vol. 1

"Perhaps I'm comparing too much to the series adaptation while reading but I didn't find the characters to be as immediately likable in the manga. They definitely grew on me throughout this first volume but I think the show improved the set up/introduction. Right off the bat a huge difference in the manga is also the first game Arisu and his friends play, which made me excited to see if other games would differ between the two. As a fan of the adaptation, it's definitely fun to read and nitpick what they chose to change as well as see the characters again in their original form."

"Holy crap this is good. The tag game was actually nail-biting and all the twists made strategic sense. Love all the twists and turns with figuring out the games. I also like the characters; there's some good chemistry between them all, even the one I thought would be really annoying.<br/>"
