I wouldn't say amazing, but it was good and entertaining. I expect others to like it more than me cause there was only one thing that made me say "hm this couldve been better" but it's a spoiler so I wont share. Outside of that there were small details sprinkled around that I loved because it showed how much thought went into the movie.

I think it was about 30 minutes in that I had to stop watching cause I was SO SCARED and anxious, even my heart was holding its breath. Eventually I did go back and finish it (much more bearable the second time around) and I was so impressed by the film. It's not what I would normally tag as "horror" but I think the built up tension at the beginning gives it that sense, and then when the action comes in it's more thriller. For fans of horror, enjoy. For fans of thrillers (as myself), beware but also enjoy.

Admittedly, I cry somewhat easily, but this book had me crying 60% of the time, far more than any other book. The emotion hits since the first few pages, and I took my time reading it to really enjoy Julie's grieving process as she learns to move forward from the death of her boyfriend Sam. If you want a lighter/happier take on this kind of plot, I suggest the anime movie Ride Your Wave!

A sad story told in a happy way of how a girl loses her boyfriend and learns to live without him. I say happy way cause it felt very wholesome for most of it, but admittedly I did cry once. If you're looking for a similar story but sadder, I would recommend the book "You've Reached Sam" by Dustin Thao
