It's been a while since I read the first book, but I think I like this second one better. The emotion of the stories and the interactions felt even more real and intriguing. Also, the writing here seemed to bother me less than the first one, not sure if it was the writing improving or that I knew what I was getting into. 4/5☕

Many congrats to the wonderful author Tatsuya Endo on reaching volume 10!! As the cover implies, we get a bit of a backstory for Loid Forger/Twilight before refocusing on the main story. In all, this volume felt like a bit of a turning point, in the sense that some of the smaller details feel like a larger catalyst that will strongly affect future happenings. Truly impressive how just a few words and an expression have me even more excited to read the next volume (out March 2024!)
