"I definitely enjoyed this book! It was both very sweet and very heartbreaking. It was a bit slow paced at times, but the writing was beautiful. It was way more character driven than plot driven, which made me a bit apprehensive, but it actually turned out to be alright because the main characters were all sooo lovable! The ending was a bit unsatisfying, as it was quite open ended, but I definitely don't regret checking this book out! If you're looking for your next emotional read then I'd definitely recommend checking this one out! Check trigger warnings!"

"first things first, this book doesn’t have a huge plot. if plot based books are what grabs you, this book will slow you down. that being said, it is every bit a character centered story, and for that i think it is beautiful and heartwrenching. the characters are intricately complex, beautifully souled, story-filled people who find love and connection with each other in hopeless situations. read if you like found family, a little romance, & poetic prose"
