Jaci Burton
New York Times bestselling author Jaci Burton presents a story about love and the games people play in the first irrisistible novel in the Play-by-Play series... The last thing event planner Tara Lincoln needs is the jet-set lifestyle of a football pro like Mick Riley; even though their steamy and passionate one-night stand proved that Mick is an all-star-both on the field and in the bedroom. Tara played the game of love once and lost big, and she doesn't intend to put herself out there again, especially with a certified heartbreaker. But when Mick sets his mind to win, nothing will stop him. And he has the perfect play in mind to catch this sultry vixen.

"I wanted to like this more... I did. The male lead is a truly wonderful guy. Good level of spice for me (mostly, but anal is not my thing). It just didn't really hold my attention? I did a reread of a completely different book in the middle. The conflict seemed too easy maybe. As with any romance novel (and hopefully unlike your real life) there is some conflict in here that pulls them apart. Then it's like, oops. Sorry! And the conflict is gone? Weird. I know this is a series, butt I think I'm out."
"Hot, hot, hot! When I first started reading I had to drool over the cover for about twenty minutes before diving head first into a wonderful, sexy, and romantic story. Full of content sighs, laughs and hunky athletes. Romance at its best!<br/><br/>I loved the characters. Tara is such a strong character. Willing to do anything for her son and always puts him before her needs and wants. Mick complements her very well and I enjoyed the delicious tension that Jaci Burton crafts into this story. While Mick is a football player, he is down to earth and real. Not cocky or full of himself and his career. Very lovable and very sexy. I love that Burton didn't make him perfect, but came fully loaded with his own faults and troubles. Highly recommended! Very steamy!<br/>"
