"Read this book and the series in high school with my best friends and we made many memories together over the books. We still to this day talk about “sexy breakfast stories”. Recently the first of us got engaged and we all wanted to reread the series together. Unfortunately, it just isn’t my preferred genre anymore and I found it fell flat with my adult perspective now. High school me called this a favorite and 5/5, but even though the nostalgia was nice, it was simply a basic 3/5 quick romance read now, and becoming more and more outdated. I don’t plan to torture myself through the rest of the series anymore even though I barely even recall what happened in the other books. I’ll keep the nostalgia in the past and appreciate what it gave me then."
