"Okay so this doesn’t really seem like a book one would consider “self-help” or “philosophical”, but reading this story, it does that and more. It covers personal growth and relationships, not only between partners but with friends and family. It talks about toxic masculinity and gender norms revolving romantic relationships and reading this story made me feel like I learned important life lessons while also being thoroughly entertained. :) "
