When it finally starts getting interesting near the middle, Walter abruptly stops the plot making the ending wacky. And the romance is barely there near the end of middle and the end of the book. Overall, 2/10. Would not recommend."

faithbeams shared a tip "this was SO good!! i haven't had a book that's kept me up until 2 am in a long time, & this one finally did it. i love fractured fairy tales, & i love villain/antihero origin stories, & of course i love darker themes within a story. the writing itself was repetitive in description (& sometimes came off as if it were something from wattpad) & slightly disappointing, but the story was beautiful & left me hooked until the end. 8/10 u should definitely read this if u can!"

I will say that I felt like the pacing was a bit odd at times, and I did have a question about a possible plot hole I noticed? Honestly, there were ways to rationalize it which could end up being a bit on me. Definitely worth a read either way. #LGBTQ+ representation for the win!"
