Topic: Night

We have to read "Night" by Elie Wiesel for school, starting tommorow. If anyone has read thus book, could you tell me if it is a boring autobiography. Or is it actually interesting?

Frances Mac Its an autobiographical memoir and its really dark and pessimistic. It can be really interesting if you want a realistic view of what happened during the holocaust.

Kathy Stark It's realistic because it's REAL. It REALLY happened to REAL people. A heartbreaking REAL-LIFE horror story. Don't worry about it being a good book ... just absorb all the life lessons and life values you can. Love, family, faith, evil, racism, dictatorships, power, determination, fortitude, forgiveness, change, "never again"... make your own list. Put yourself in his place as you read it. I would love to know your thoughts afterward.

Jaimie Kyle It's extremely sad I had to read it for English clas and I cried really hard. It's very descriptive and will make you sick to your stomach. It feels like something out of a fiction horror book but 100 times worse. It's honestly a Rollercoaster ride of emotions and definitely isn't boring at all for me atleast. I really enjoyed it but the preface drags on for a little while. It's a little discouraging but then it gets really intense and is almost impossible to put down.
