Who is your favorite character in the Lunar Chronicles and why?

What order should I read Throne of Glass?? I’ve heard pros and cons of reading it in the two popular ways. However I still cannot decide, and I’d like to hear y’all’s opinions✨

I just finished this book and noticed very prominent similarities between this and Red Queen. Am I the only one or has anyone else noticed this.

I tried to pick up Burn by Patrick Ness but ended up DNFing it because it's just not for me. I've now picked up The Cabinet by Un-su Kim and I'm really enjoying it so far!

Anyone else super annoyed by Mari’s character?

The Bone Trap, book 1 of the Mysterious Scotland series by Tormod Cockburn. This one is so hidden I can't even find it on Likewise yet! I enjoyed this one quite a bit! A little but Country, a little bit Rock & Roll (archeology pun). A little bit Science, a little bit Fantastical Foal. It was a good story with an intriguing premise. The protagonist is kind of adorably awkward, which makes him more human. He dose make some very very stupid mistakes, though. Interesting team of characters,too.

Ok, I've seen and heard so much about the "Folk of the Air" series, and apparently they're really good, but (Cue my most asked question) I wanna know if there's spice...and if so, how much?

Anyone else really disappointed in this book? Like, I know Ashley Poston’s debut novel “Geekerella” was bad, but it was a debut. Her other books have been really great, especially her adult romance books. There’s great elements of grief, forgiveness, appreciation, and love (not just romantic love, but also familiar love). This is just bad, and I’m wondering if she had a ghost writer for the other two books.

Almost done reading Caraval and ngl I’m not rlly a fan. What about you?

Everybody talks about “The Outsiders,” but I don’t see many people talk about its semi-sequel/followup “That Was Then, This Is Now.” I liked it more than “The Outsiders,” tbh. Maybe it was the scrappier characters or the more intimate scope (only four main characters instead of a whole group), but it hit me a lot of harder. It’s a shame more people don’t talk about it, so do yourselves a favor and read it.

So I've been thinking starting a project for a while now. (I haven't even begun it yet.) I'd like to compile a compendium or encyclopedia of fantasy creatures and races. My primary target would be fantasy authors. I'm trying to decide the best way to organize it. What I've come up with so far is 1: Alphabetical by creature/race name. 2: Country/culture of origin. 3: Creatures/races natural environment. (Forest, aquatic, frozen tundra, etc... What do you think would be best/most effective?

ive been noticing on a lot of reviews on books i thought were actually pretty good get compared to wattpad or episode stories…when they were better than bottom feeding wattpad or episode stories. for example haunting adeline, ANY coho book, B&B, etc

I'm so disappointed that I won't be finishing Stephen King's It. I made it maybe 30 percent of the way in and had a panic attack because this boys dead brother tried to drag him into the canal. How am I supposed to celebrate Halloween if I'm this scary? Sigh

Can a mature 16 year old read this?

This book passed me off so much, I haven't felt anger this visceral since working at a casino. The main character's brother is such a self centered jerk that I got an ulcer listening to his antics. Her mother's an idiot. Also, the book devolved into crazy nonsense.

Just finished this book… and it was okay. The action and spice were great.. but the writing was a little off for me. Still 3/5 stars.
