Juliet Shalu Castillo I am currently reading How to Solve Your Own Murder for the mystery mob book group. I just started but hope to be ready for our discussion post this Friday. Other than that I have been in a slump but I am always hopeful to get things going again.

Momma Mia🌻🌻🌻 I’m just starting chapter ten of ‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.’ It’s been engaging so far. I’ve never read any of her other books or ‘Daisy Jones and the Six,’ but I did enjoy the miniseries for its strong three-dimensional characters and emotional depth. This story seemed hugely popular also, so I thought I’d give it a whirl.

Brandon Reed I'm currently reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, which is a collection of Arthur Conan Doyle's Holmes short stories. I'm flying through them, and I'm near the end. I'll read one or two of the stories in a single setting, because of how engaging they are.

Sandy Lopez It was a good cozy mystery. It started off a bit slow in the beginning but it picked up.

Max Edge Just finished reading the Macbeth play and I really loved it. It was fun to bounce between the play, footnotes, and litcharts translation to modern English.

Max Edge I read it partially in preparation for Ava Reid's new book, Lady Macbeth, which I'm so happy to finally be reading.

Cindy Fahrbach New here. I’m reading Out of Africa by Isak Dinesen (Karen Blixen). It’s a bookclub selection. It hasn’t been at all what I expected (basically, the Streep-Redford movie). I’m not loving it but I am finding it mostly interesting.

Joel Just started “Middlesex” by Jeffrey Eugenides. An interesting story so far. The prose is rich and witty making it pretty engaging.
