Fantasy Book Club

I just got a new bookshelf and don’t know how to organize my books on it. Please let me know how to organize it. I own mostly fantasy with a bit of romance, dystopian, sci-fi, mystery/thriller, and little bit of general fiction/ literary fiction. No judgement zone: What’s something that would immediately make you drop/stop what you’re reading? Explain why.

Has anybody heard of this? Read it? It sounds pretty good. But I couldn't get a sense of what kind of fantasy it is. Is it cozy? Is it romance heavy?

In your opinion which Witcher book is the best? And at what point does it start to go down hill?

Random but should I get on Goodreads? I use Storygraph a lot and love their stats and content warning features. Goodreads seems like it has a couple good features, like the lists and telling you how many people are 'currently reading' a book. What are y'all's opinions ?

Does anyone know if this book as spice in it and in the books after it?? And if there is black magic and romance in it??? Thanks!

Just finished Crown Of Midnight. I liked it but I felt like I was getting bored. Do I keep going with the series does it get better?!

Currently diving into the first book of the Zodiac Academy series, and while I’m enjoying it, I can’t stand how awful everyone in Solaria is to the girls—especially the heirs! I knew it would have this vibe, but it’s hard to push through all the cruelty (and the secondhand embarrassment is real). I’m about halfway through and torn on whether to keep going. Does it get better? Is the rest of the series worth it? Let me know what you guys think!

Ok. I’m all for some good tension and suspense. But people. I’m on BOOK SIX. There has to be a positive climax at some point! Preferably by book two or fucking three! I’m starting to lose interest. Is the Throne of Glass series worth reading? I read the first 2 and loved them but the 3rd has been a bore for me. I'm 66% of the way though it. Is it worth it to continue reading the series??

I’ve finished the second book and am so immersed in the A Court of Thornes series that I’m already dreading the end of the series. Are the other series by Sarah J. Maas as good? Is there any other Romantasy series that is as good?

I really liked her other series “Captive Prince” and have been wanting to check this series out, however I can’t find any information on if it is only the two books or if another one is set to be published.

I just finished the 4 books out in T Kingfisher's Saint of Steel series (recommended, BTW) and discovered that this is a series in progress. Does anyone else struggle with unknowingly starting an in progress series? I tend to want to read the whole series at once - not wait for each installment. I feel like I need the *almost* (taking into account reading time) instant gratification of the next book through to the end of the series. Do you avoid or have no preference about in progress series?
