What order should I read Throne of Glass?? I’ve heard pros and cons of reading it in the two popular ways. However I still cannot decide, and I’d like to hear y’all’s opinions✨

Kaitlyn I read it in the order the books came out from throne of glass to kingdom of ash the only wild card is assassins blade, which could be read before or after. Other than that specific book you need to read it in order to avoid spoilers and understand it properly

KyKy I preferred reading it in order, it’s a lot easier to understand that way. Then read Assassins Blade last.

Madison C I'd recommend reading all of them in publication order, which would put The Assassin's Blade between book two and book three. TAB is technically a prequel, but if you read it first you'll spoil a few things that are mentioned in Throne of Glass, plus ToG is the best introduction to the world and the characters IMO. A few things that happen in TAB are mentioned in book three and beyond, so you really need to read it before then to have a better understanding of the characters and their motivations. Hope this helps!

Haili🫧 I read Assassins Blade 3rd and thought it was a good place for it (it basically functions as a “flashback” in that order) but reading it first would have bigger emotional impact. Absolutely don’t read it last. And I recommend doing the tandem read for Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn.
