Thoughts on John Boyne’s The Heart’s Invisible Furies or A Ladder to the Sky? I’ve just bought both titles and am debating which to start first. Thank you!

If I normally don’t like YA, am I likely to dislike this one? I would usually only read older YA (e.g. Jules Verne), if anything, but I did like the Alex & Eliza trilogy and A Wrinkle in Time

Hey everyone! Not book related but in honor of Pride Month, I'm interested to learn everyone's sexuality and gender identity as well as any fun stories you have. All of that is of course if you're comfortable sharing. I'll go first. I'm a demigirl (she/they) lesbian and on the ace spectrum. Mu fun story is that my friend likes to make pride turtles out of pipe cleaners and she made me a gay pride one before I even told her, so I guess she just figured it out lol.

Anyone read Kiss and Tell? Started the book and I'm on page 40 (so barely into the book) but the MC seems to contain a lot of guilt? Specifically "white guilt". Seems to think he shouldn't worry since there are others who have it worse than him. Does this get better? I'm also reading review ratings and they seem to be on the fence. 🤔 Would love more opinions without spoilers. Lol #books #romance #lgbt

Ok so I figured out how to make a discussion thingy... anyway. Did anyone read Exodus 20:3 by Freydis Moon? It contains a male trans character. Want your guys opinion on the book. I recently got it and am surprised with how small it is! Will continue reading tho since I'm on page 29. Imma be honest what garnered my attention was the new release of the cover on Amazon. 😅

I am currently reading Most Ardently by Gabe Cole Novoa, and while I still haven't finished it, I just had to recommend it. It has a nice representation, and the main character is a closeted transgender man, so it definitely relates to me. I hope you guys try it!
