"I read this a couple years ago and enjoyed it and I decided to reread it and i still enjoyed it but I feel like the characters were bland except for four he was the only interesting character in my opinion. "

"Lovely unique dystopian with some of the best world building I have read in teen fiction. This was one of my favorites as a teen, and it still holds up to me as an adult."

"4.5 ⭐️ I realized while watching this movie the other day that I’ve never actually read the book, so I decided to pick it up! As expected, there was more detail to the story in the book, which was great to experience. I did find that the film adaptation created more tension in certain areas and I missed those moments while reading. It’s always tricky to review a book when you’ve already seen the movie since you already know what’s going to happen. I can see how this would be an unpredictably exciting read the first time through. "

"I liked the plot, and certain parts of the relationship. That's the best I can say. I didn't hate this book by any means, the writing style just felt to similar to the Hunger Games and the characters to generic for me to really connect with them. 2.7/5⭐"

"It starts off very well and after a while I’m just trying to get through it. The ending wasn’t very appealing to me. I realized when re-reading that I completely blocked out half of it from my memories and now I see why."
