trinity_lakey shared a tip "Perspective Quick read"
juliette_devries shared a tip "If I feel like reading I just pick up this book again and again"
nancy_barlow shared a tip "The author is Anonymous is there is no way to properly answer that question but it is a book that will stand the test of time"
stephiiKay shared a tip "I love just reading personal diaries"
prismaticdream shared a tip "While this book can be an interesting read, after doing more research on it, it's easy to find out that it's not a real account of "Alice" instead it's the writings of a Mormon youth counselor who created stories like this one to keep children on the path of God"
samantha_zaragoza_9294 shared a tip "Captured my attention from the beginning. You get to be inside the mind of the main character and experience her roller coaster of emotions and struggles. Has an insane plot twist at the end that makes you want to start the entire book over again. I couldn’t put it down, it got to the point where i would forget I was reading."
leira_sedai shared a tip "Take this with a grain of salt coz its 100% fiction"
alexandra_lean shared a tip "Sad"
max_conrad shared a tip "it was a good book, written as if it were a teenage girls diary, we watch her spiral into drug addiction and the bumpy road to recovery and relapse."
nicole_deason shared a tip "💜💜💜💜💜💜"
kenzie_christman shared a tip "It kept you interested with every page"
alycia_russell shared a tip "This book was different than all other books I have read. It was a heart wrenching book that told a true story without anything being held back. Loved it"
nataly_tolentino shared a tip "This was such a great book! The ending was so sad and I felt bad for her since she really seemed like she wanted a change!"
claudia_webb shared a tip "@mattnelsonsurfs it’s been a long time since I’ve read this book but I’d have to say when she starts her drug experience journey and all the feels that goes along with it. Even though it’s set in the 60’s, I feel many teens could relate to her emotions (maybe not so much the drug experiences that Alice had though haha)"
teia_show shared a tip "very interesting to read tbis from her pov"

annabelle_griffin shared a tip "if ur gonna read TW/ rape, drug use, suicide, ed"
angieambience shared a tip "This was sad. I had to keep reminding myself that she was only 15. The things she went thru. And things she did. It's heartbreaking. But the epilogue got me thinking. I don't think it was accidental nor willingly. People are evil. And can do more than damage you'd ever think possible. Poor girl. She was on the right path.. absolutely think some teens should read this. Drugs are no joke. People are worse. This is MY opinion on this book.."
zavier_rogers shared a tip "This book can get confusing on the timeline, but other than that its grrat especially to spread awareness."
rebecca_bates_1137 shared a tip "This is and always has been one of my favorites. I was about 12 when I first checked this book out of my school library. I didn’t know then, that when I got into high school I’d have drugs all around me and offered to me. Every turn in life I have referred back to this book, it kept me on my toes and taught me not to give into to the peer pressure. This book was such a huge life experience for me again and again(I picked this book up almost 20 years ago and still can’t put it down.)"
Ladynyanya shared a tip "Omg this book is so good but kinda sad. Must read"
jo_ann_begley shared a tip "Omg it’s been 30 years! I just remember it being the book everyone was reading and that it was shocking"
nicolette_froelicher shared a tip "Yes and no. Was a good book to read when I was a teenager, but as an adult it was flat, retro and very just say no to drugs kids kind of vibe. It originally came out in the 60's, 70's. The movie was made in the 70's."
skye_farley shared a tip "Quick read but very real to reader"

simra_baig shared a tip "okay, so the book kind of sucked in my opinion. As someone around the age of Alice, some of the strings she says and does really bother me, the book gets sort of confusing at the end, I already know how the rest of it is going to go. Maybe it's the diary format or maybe it's the actual character herself but I didn't enjoy this book, it's so hard to get emotional about. i would not recommend this book for a read. it's not worth it."
the1stfallenangel94 shared a tip "My senior year high school teacher read this to us in between catcher in the rye. It's so ******* sad"
