Topic: What We Do in the Shadows
Where are all the what we do in the shadow fans at? For all the accolades the show has received I don't see it talked about much on here. I love that show so much and don't want it to end

MeYou0 Meh. I can't seem to make it past season 3. I loved the movie, then thought season 1 was great. Season 2 was ok, I liked Colin Robinson's parts. But now I'm getting pretty tired of some of the characters, the endless d!ck jokes, and the writers seem to be struggling to keep the story interesting. They've had some great guest appearances and I love the idea of the show overall, but it has grown stale for me. I doubt I'll watch all 5 seasons unless someone can convince me it's worth my time.

Jojo I'm currently on season 4 and 1 & 2 are my favorites I would have to say out of the seasons I've seen. All the ding dong jokes don't really bother me all that much I really think that they're funny 😄😄😄😄 in the cast that has great comedic timing. I was a huge fan of the movie and I guess my fandom of that carried over to the show. I'll be watching till it inevitably ends

Marsh i was relieved to finally get some same sex couples in the later seasons!! it was irritating to hear all the bisexuality references paired with stuff like b3stiality. i found the nightclub subplot a bit meh but i DID like the incredibly autistic coded colin robinson, and omg the djinn i LOVE him my GOD is he attractive and great at playing the straight man to nandor's antics. i dont have hulu so its one of those shows i binge irregularly when im housesitting once a year. leads to gaps in my memory of what happens when.

Jojo Yes! Colin Robinson is definitely autistically coded. And you don't know how happy that made me to see that he's also pretty hilarious 😆 🤣 his chest cavity baby seems to have ADHD though or something like that I love the overall sense of queerness as well I know the fact that Lazlo seems to be obsessed with *********** and whatnot can you get on some people's gears but I think it's hilarious as well night club thing with the vampires was pretty dope

Marsh haha i don't mind lazlo's lewd obsessions! at least he's honest about it and he respects the gym lady saying no thanks. being played by matt berry tones down the potential irritation levels so much. great casting choice.

Jojo Jackie Daytona is the man! But for real though Lazlo is my favorite character cracks me up every time with Guillermo being my second favorite. Super strong pansexual vibes from this show which is awesome LMFAO

Jojo I could see how house sitting can lead to the gaps between Seasons or storylines and plots 😅😅😅 I'm currently in the middle of season 4 episode 6 or 7 I love how the genie is people pleasing ball buster of sorts

Jojo It's a dope show and the writing is so clever. I also really like the tender moments in the most recent seasons. Although I think the earlier seasons were just a bit better, this show rarely takes missteps

Karla Campos Yes the writing is so on point for this show! I think what saves them is the balance they always have between comedy and more sentimental scenes or even episodes. So even if there are some things you don't like in one moment, they swing in the next moment to something hilarious that you can't help but love. But I also love comedy shows that sneakily make you get emotionally involved lol
