Topic: Books

What's one emotion you don't want to feel when reading a book? For me, it's anger, unfortunately. While I think it's the telling of a good writer to be able to cause such a strong emotion, I can't bear to read books with serious topics because of how angry it makes me feel.

Marinda Boydstun I think that's the one for me, too. But sometimes it's important to read things that give a person 'negative' emotions.

AutisticJester Sadness for me, I can't handle heartbreak 💔 I want everything to turn out well in the end, and no one of note is dying on me.

Lisa Ray I would have to agree with you. Feeling angry while reading isn't a good feeling.

lizard  secondhand embarrassment gets me bad. If it’s an audiobook i have to speed fast it, if it’s physical I tend to end up dropping it
