Road Master Something said it's a sequel. But it doesn't look like a sequel. It looks like a repeat.

Craig S. It's a sequel and I can't wait. Twister is one of my top 10 movies. There are tons more movies that came out in the past decade that we needed less than this, but Hollywood loves their recognizable IP.

Craig S. It is what it is. They're giving the masses what they want. The top 11 highest grossing movies so far this year are sequels. And 2 crossed a billion. I've only seen Dune part 2 and Deadpool this year in theaters and I've got no plans to see anything else. There's just sooooo much stuff to watch at home that theaters have become events as opposed to...."hey, wanna catch a movie tonight?" like it used to be. There are more original movies than ever being put out but they just don't have mass appeal anymore like they used to. I was excited to watch The Bikeriders on Peacock this weekend, but not excited enough to spend my time/money to goto a theater and watch it over something like Shogun at home. So I can't blame studios for putting more money and marketing into sequels and IP because the market has spoken. And as long as they keep making stuff like The Boys, HotD, Yellowstone, and I just started Black Mass (great so far), my need for original content is satisfied. Hell, I've got a list of close to, if not over 1000 movies/shows I still need to watch. I hear Lawrence of Arabia is an ok movie I should check out someday 🤣.

Brandon Reed It certainly COULD be good. There's more than one good earthquake movie, more than one good fire movie, and more than one good sinking ship movie. There's room for another good tornado movie.
