Topic: A Gentleman in Moscow
Thoughts on A Gentleman in Moscow? I started it (around chapter 2) but at the moment it’s a little slow… the whole plot sounds intriguing but it has been kind of hard getting into the story. I need some motivation to finish it! When do things pick up and get more interesting? I also want to read it so I can watch the show

Craig S. I barely finished episode 1 and quit. I read it gets better, but when will show runners realize there is sooooo much content to watch these days that they really need to start getting people hooked quicker if they want them to spend time on the entire show?

Craig S. I was looking forward to it as well because the trailers looked fun. Maybe it does get more entertaining, but I don't wanna spend hours waiting to find out when I've got tons of other shows/movies to try 🫤. On the positive side, based on the one episode I saw, Ewan McGregor does a great job 😁.

Jessica This is easily one of my favorite books of all time. The narrative isn't super plot driven but the pacing does pick up after the first few chapters. The writing is really beautiful and the novel is an amazing character study. I was completely invested in Count Rostov and when I finished the book it felt like I was losing a friend.
