David Rachau Denzel will be great, but no idea if the movie will be. The "sea" battles inside the Colosseum look pretty cool. Always been fascinated by how they did that back then.

Road Master That pretty well mirrors my own thoughts. Denzel: Yes. Naval battles: Yes. Everything else: Meh. They changed the kid who played Lucius. That's going to stick out to me.

Iman Okay so the trailer looks good.. but I’m not too sure. Like will it do the first movie justice? Will this second movie be able to capture the essence of the colosseum? I’m a major history nerd, so what I’m worried is that they might glorify the idea of battle rather than the tragedy behind it.

Road Master I'd hope for a good balance. Some good action and movie stuff. But also a good showcase of how horrible it would have been. I like Denzel. I'll watch just about anything with him. I'm also loving the water scenes. Everything else about the trailer is pretty lackluster.

Aditya One cool fact I realized: if Denzel somehow manages to get nominated for this, he would tie Sir Laurence Olivier as the second most nominated male actor of all time (it would be his 10th acting nomination), only behind Jack Nicholson (who has 12 acting nominations). He would also only become the 6th actor or actress to receive at least 10 acting nominations (after Nicholson, Olivier, Meryl Streep, Bette Davis, and Katharine Hepburn).
