Any tips for reading faster??

Donna Rayburn Well, reading more and focusing on the sentence, instead of pop one word at a time helps. If that’s what you are after.

Elli Douglas-Hale I listen to light music while reading. It helps me block out everything else and I read so much faster

jon I read smaller books, and I annotate them while I read. It keeps me from accidentally re reading passages or getting bogged down in semantics.

Naomi Try a little bit of everything, genres and styles of writing effect the pace people read at depending on your taste. So start slow and look for what you enjoy the most then you can improve the pace.

ARule I heard that if you follow each word with your finger, you read faster. Timing myself, it did work for me, but when reading a book for fun, it just feels uncomfortable to hold it in a way to follow with your finger.
