Topic: The Spiderwick Chronicles
So apparently THIS was a thing. That I never heard a single thing about. Has anybody else heard of this or seen it?

Road Master I saw the movie years ago. I liked it. But it was weak. I never read the books. So I don't know if there's enough material for a series.

Sages The movie was good, if a tad boring. The books were pretty solid when I read them as a kid, but I've never revisited them. A TV show is unnecessary; I feel like it was hard to make an interesting 96 minute movie, let alone an entire show. I just don't think it's meant for a visual medium.

Road Master The video that I learned about this from, mentioned that there were multiple, extremely short, books in the series. But that the movie wasn't filmed or even intended to get a sequel. It ended pretty solidly and doesn't NEED any more. Having never read the books, I agree with his assessment of the movie. I can definitely see your point about it not being suited for the screen though.

Julz I’ve seen the movie and liked it ok! I read a few of the books when I was younger and like them. I wanted to watch the show but didn’t know if it was worth it or stuck to the books.
