Topic: The Deep
I got this book because I thought it would be a good fun horror book to read for fall. My dad told me he read his other book the troop and it scared the heck out of him. He said it was scarier than Stephen king. Would you say it’s really scary? How scary is it? I’ve never read a horror book but I’ve watcha many movies and shows and love them.

Dylan To give us a better idea on what to suggest, what's a horror movie you found to be scary? Oh, and I agree with your father. The Troop was fantastic. I'd suggest it to horror lovers, especially if body horror gets to you.

Julz Well I haven’t seen that many and they have been unsettling but never scary. The only things I’d say that are even remotely scary and could be scary to others is IT, Silence of the Lambs, The tv show From, and Stranger things. None of them where scary to me but they were unsettling and disturbing at times.

Maya I liked the Troop way more than The Deep (didnt understand the ending). I also wasn't scared of either tho, but the troop had some gross me out and heart thumping scenes. So I would say you can def sleep at night reading either.
