Hi can I ask what horror books do all recommend?

Sarah What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher, Gothic by Philip Fracassi, Where the Dead Wait by Ally Wilkes, Nightfall by Daniel Bennett. That's a good list to get you started! Lots of variations on different types of Horror.

Queasy-Undead To add to the variety, I would recommend, from approx. slowest-fastest: Just Like Home (Sarah Gailey), The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires (Grady Hendrix), Leech (Hiron Ennes), Revelator (Daryl Gregory), Night of the Mannequins (Stephen Graham Jones), and Cruel Angels Past Sundown (Hailey Piper). If you can get your hands on it, The Origin of the Crabs by Guy N. Smith is good in a very bad way.

Rj I really liked Horns by Joe Hill. It's a dark supernatural horror but the main character's dry humor makes up for it. Also, I listened to it on audio (which I hate) and still loved it.
