""What can I say, I like playing with my food!"
This is a fun, blood soaked, gore fest of a movie. Even though the trailer gives away too much, there is still a lot of fun to be had and a couple of twists. This movie doesn't take itself too seriously, so just turn your brain off and enjoy it in the way it was intended. 8/10"
"I don’t like real horror. I’m a scaredy cat. I like my horror movies like I like my two yearly cups of coffee; with lots of sugar. This has a great cast, is really well written and gory as all get out. Funny with equal parts tropes and twists. I usually want to go into a movie blind, if it’s one of my genres. But can’t do that with horror (or thrillers). My homework showed me this was directed by the same guys who did my all time favorite horror movie, Ready or Not (ok, maybe Green Room), so I was all in. But don’t make the same mistake as me. Don’t watch the trailer, it gives way too much away and this movie is really fun. Probably end up a franchise. "

Despite being one of those movies that gave away way too much in the trailer. Knowing most of the twists “from the trailer.” Abigail was still a really good time. With a star making performance by Alisha Weir as Abigail.
Spoiler Alert: This is one of the best vampire movies in recent years."
