"Never have I seen a movie more visceral, more surreal in my life!! This is not one of your typical "hood drama" movies, this hits a little different. The cinematography makes it look documentary-esque, making you feel like you're in one of the dangerous favelas in the film. Damn near everything about this movie feels real, especially the actors, which also adds to the documentary feel of the movie. As far as urban dramas go, this is one of the more realistic portrayals and plus this movie is based on a true story! One of my all time favorites! "
