"This was really good I also liked Julie more in this movie than the first she was a far better character in this movie she didn't corner herself as much and she actually was able to kill people without hesitation which I like in a character it's annoying when people refuse to kill and let the killer get away but I didn't care for the ending that much I felt it was unnecessary."
"I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is the sequel to the 1997 slasher hit I Know What You Did Last Summer. The story follows Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who is still haunted by the events of the previous summer. Along with her friends Karla (Brandy Norwood), Tyrell (Mekhi Phifer), and Will (Matthew Settle), Julie wins a trip to the Bahamas. However, their vacation turns into a nightmare as the murderous fisherman with a hook returns to seek revenge.
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer attempts to build on the success of its predecessor but falls short in delivering the same level of suspense and thrills. The movie relies heavily on the typical slasher tropes, including false alarms, jump scares, and predictable plot twists. While the film does have its moments of gore and terror, it lacks the intensity and originality that made the first movie a hit.
One of the major drawbacks of the film is its predictability. The audience can easily anticipate the next move, making the scares less effective. The movie also suffers from a lack of coherence, with several plot holes and inconsistencies that detract from the overall experience.
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is a disappointing sequel that fails to capture the essence of the original. While it may appeal to die-hard fans of the genre, it offers little in terms of innovation or genuine scares. If you're looking for a thrilling horror movie, you might want to look elsewhere."
"*All of my reviews are from my own personal preferences. No ill will to anyone who dislikes or enjoys the films.*
I'm sorry...what? WHO said this sequel necessary? I don't have anything else to say other than, NO."
